Anyoe do this? i want to get rid of the console, really don't need the tach, so i was hoping i could drill out the tripple and place those dummy lights in there somehow, if ya gots a how too and some pics that would be good, i did do a search but not sure if my wording is right to get the right write up. thanks.

You could replace your speedo with one that has the lights in it and there are handlebar mounted idiot lights too.

i actually like the oem one, and the bar ones don;t account for the sm risers i use with the america bars so don't think they would work (your talking the joker ones right? Would love to see them in the tree, nice out of the way place for them, easy to see etc etc.
I might not even use any of them, really don't need them except for maybe the oil one but i also have an oil pressure guage on the bike so kind of overkill.

I like the oem speedo too, but the bar mounted lights are available in different configurations from different manufacturers.

Wasn't telling you what to do just suggesting an easy way around.
