We're picking up my wife's new America today and I had intended to buy the BC Bomber performance package for it, but was advised against the airbox removal kit because it would make the bike run too lean, even with the "fattest" available Triumph tune. Anybody have more info to support or refute this? I have a Tuneboy that I use on my '07 RocketIII, and was hoping I could download a tune for the specific setup for the America, since there are hundreds of tunes specifically tailored for every conceivable RocketIII setup available to download free from forums. I have searched here, but didn't find any. If anyone has info on available tunes to download for the America, specifically to match the whole BC Bomber performance package, I'd greatly appreciate it.

There are no tunes available on ths site. Someone here may know where you can find what you're looking for. I use the TORs tune with minor mods in Tuneboy. I haven't seen many modded tunes available for our bikes either in Tuneboy or TuneECU sites - just stock and TORs tunes for the different model years.
Maybe you may need to put your bike on a dyno and create the tune yourself? This is what I will do when I get around to gutting my airbox.

I am running a slightly altered TORs tune in my wifes 2012 speedmaster. It has Scepter pipes and the SAI removed. intake is stock. It runs good, no issues. I am using TuneECU.
should there be a tune repository for this site? The R3 and T-bird site have them. its nice to have various tuning options.
05 speedmaster - 1100cc, 11:1 racing pistons, Carillo rods, thunderbike cams, ported and polished head, 2mm over intake and exhaust valves, Barnett kevlar clutch, scepter pipes, oversize manifolds, 45mm HSR's, TTP stage 4 firestarter

DEFINITELY like the idea of having a tune repository on this site, but unfortunately, my technical prowess doesn't extend far enough to create tunes for various setups. I'll absolutely share whatever tunes I can get my hands on and tweak (with the help of others).

Being based just past the era of expansion chambers, we'll make a quantum leap and look into creating a tune bank. How large would a typical file/tune be? Send one or two our way and we'll have a better idea of what creating such a collection would entail.

TuneECU.com currently list about ten Triumph tunes for the various configurations (mech speedo, digital speedo, after market muffler, diferent ethanol percentages...not all would be useful)and two custom tunes. I can't seem to attach a tune here in a post. moe, If you would like a couple of the older ones e-mailed to get an idea of possible space requirements I could do that. Or maybe we could start a sticky for the EFI and a quick overview and links to the tunes?

Matt, it is set up now. We'll link to the base line tunes at TuneECU.com. Thanks for that. Our tune forum is looking for homegrown tunes. That said, we'll gladly link to the base line tunes at TuneECU.com too (or any other online tune stash).

Found the new forum for TuneECU but it won't let me post to it. I can post in this forum (obviously), but for some reason the Post button in the TuneECU forum is grayed out. I have a map that supposedly works for an EFI bike with the whole BC Bomber performance package, including air box removal that I wanted to post...

whats in the bc bomber package as I run a 2009 America with slash cut open pipes from an Australian company, very similar to stainetune pipes but possibly a bit bigger internal pipe as louder than mates with staines on it. I had my bike dyno tuned the tune is in the TUNEECU web sites downloads page under mick from Aust. I have recently gutted out the air box and opened up the bottom too !! I added about 10 points of fuel over the whole tune/map runs great and still gets 19.5 plus klms ltr

The BC Bomber package comes with BC Bomber slip-ons (pretty open), a secondary air injection removal kit and an airbox removal kit so you end up with a filter right on the back of each throttle body. Sounds like it's similar enough to what you're running to give it a try, thanks! Replying to your PM now.
