Well, now that its kind of out let me clarify....

We had our civil ceremony (that means legal) on Sept 28th.
We had our party for anyone not able to make it to Cabo yesterday (Oct 6th).
Our wedding ceremony with family, Karens white dress and my sexy tropical look is on Oct 19th in Cabo San Lucas.

So yes, we are married legally but aside from you folks here, our witnesses and our parents we are not married as of yet.

Karen and I have been a couple for just short of 10 years and we (mostly me) had specific goals in mind before we were ready or wiling to enter married life. A couple years ago those things started to fall into place. We became debt free, bought a condo, made sure that if we both had to take pay cuts of at least 50% that we could still live the life we have and then and only then was I willing to "pop the question". There was more to it but you get the idea.
We also did not want to ruin all that we worked for by having a massive extravagant wedding and starting married life in debt for a big party. Hence the Cabo wedding. Believe me, after all is said and done its cheaper than a used America.

So thats the short version of the story... oh, one more question we keep getting asked is "why the civil ceremony in the states". Because there were some questions in regards to what happens to property, retirement accounts, benefits etc... if we got married in another country. The answers were just not good enough to make me comfortable so to ensure our future and that we get to keep what is ours we wanted to be legal in the U.S. with no questions whatsoever.

And for your viewing pleasure... some sneek peek pics...

The food spread was a mix of Mexican and Phillipino

In case of any confusion

It would NOT be appropriate if there was not Triumph representation at the event
