Ya know Jim, what's kinda coincidental here, is that I think your Dad kinda sorta looks a little like George C. Scott.
(...mixed with just a touch of Jack Lemmon, maybe!)

Well that third guy from the left is absolutely astonished at the awe of the 100 kb. computor and it's intrinsic power.

Yeah, he seems to be, alright! Coincidentally again, I just saw something on TV recently about how modern day smartphones have thousands of times more computing power than did all the computers onboard the Apollo command modules.

I've heard similar statements. Think how tiny the wires must be to accomplish that. Not to mention soldering detail required/
BTW: the 3rd guy from the left isn't actually from planet earth.

Notice the guy in the middle at the far end of the console. His hand inching towards the buttons, his mind itching to start a fight with the Ruskies, the whole time thinking no one notices his advancements, not even the photographer.

Are those sprinklers on the ceiling... that's quite a few of them! I guess because at the time, there was no "No Smoking" signs on public buildings...

Well Jim,
I'm guessing by now you know more about the subtle nuance & gentlemen photographed than even your father was aware of at the time.

lol John. I tried this morning over Peet's Major Dickinson french pressed java. To no avail I might add. I did learn that Daniel "Chappie" James, Jr., a Tuskegee Airman, earned the rank of 4-star full General at that time he was named Commander of the North American Air Defense Command. September 1975.
