The law makes practical sense cause of the "sensitivity" problem, but it seems like a real can of worms could open up. Another solution; get elected governor of the state and traffic laws don't apply! Here in corn country (Iowa), our governor's limo got caught going in excess of 90 mph on the highway. An off duty officer called it in and he WAS FIRED! He hasn't gotten his job back yet, but HIS boss was fired two weeks ago for being a "dick in general". The Governor? No apologies, no ticket, no problem!
