The last couple days have been extremely hard for me and my family. My grandmother would have been 99 years young in two weeks and still very strong and living at home by herself. Wednesday she hit her life alert from being in extreme pain. After tests were run she was diagnosed with a perferated bile, our choice was to put her on some meds and send her home to pass or go thru surgery. To us our only choice was surgery. Surgery went well but found that bile was ruptured not just perforated but was repaired. She then had a small heart attack thru the nite and we were told that her kidneys and liver were damaged as well as her heart. Saturday we had to make the tough decision of removing her from life support. She held her own for another day and a half but passed this morning not long after I stopped to visit. The world lost a beautiful and sweet person this morning that raised myself and two brothers more than our own mother/s. She was the last of our older family as she has burried her husband (our grandfather), our father, all of her siblings and she was the second oldest and most recently her oldest son (our uncle) Sorry for for the long post but she was the best and really a special person that will be greatly missed.
