This Friday my father passed somewhat unexpectedly. He had Alzheimer's disease, and sudden complications from diabetes. We are all still grieving, distraught, and overwhelmed. I am the executor of my dad's will, and also handling all of the arrangements for mom and the funeral and such. I have been doing research to make sure I don't miss anything that our wonderful gov't can punish us for in the future, and I ran across something I thought all here would find interesting.

I was looking at what I need to do with his Social Security money/payments and such and found this thread posted by Friarjohn. http://ask.metafilter.com/62136/Does-SSA-reclaim-benefits-when-someone-dies

He asked the same question I was going to ask. Just found it to be a strange coincidence and it made me smile for some reason.
