I'm in the process of working on a light mod and have a small SNAFU. Fast flashing but only with brake applied. This is all a relatively cheap experiment, so if it doesn't work it's ok. I'm using a trailer controller and a couple of dual filament bases and bulbs. As stated above everything works great except for the FF on braking. I'm thinking I may need a different relay or more resistance wired in at the brake switch. Please see link below for a video. All comments and suggestions welcome and appreciated.

Ok, looks like a good mod. If the flashing lights don't get their attention the loud clicking noise will.

It's not speeding till you get pulled over.

I use these, and they work with any combo of light types.

So Ryk are you saying I DO infact need a different relay for this to work properly? (stop the fast flashing while braking)

No, I'm saying this relay cured my flash. freq. woes, which were too rapid as are yours. I'm a grease monkey/mechanic/fabricator/field machinist. Electricity and its nuances are not my forte. So, I seek out someone who is, when I need to. There is the distinct possibility something is inadvertently wired wrong on your bike or even just a ground issue. But your lights do respond correctly to input, just flash rapidly the the brakes are applied, hell, they sell kits to make them act similar to that, do they not?
