I have one of the prototypes of this seat (they originally experimented with using the actual stock solo seat pan) and I really like it. Of course, it looks awesome, and despite looking like there's no padding whatsoever it is very comfy on rides in the 2-3 hour range (definitely NOT made for real long distances), but the thing I like about it the most is that because of it's lower profile you are sitting more IN the bike than on the bike.

One other factor in buying the seat was that it was extremely discounted (more than 50% off the price of the final version) so I felt like I couldn't lose in the deal. I would never recommend you spend that kind of money without trying one out in the first place though. I know everyone here is a Corbin fan but I think the low profile seat offers you another option for a different, and in my opinion MUCH cooler looking, seat.
