That is right Mr. Erle. The older members drop, buy a different bike, and move on. We don't seem to be replacing them.
An example is Speedmaster05. He comes in and reads the forum and is still active. He is an exception. In your link I don't even remember the names of those guys. Most don't come back.
But I am wondering as a new guy, if I didn't have any tech questions that were not in the vault, would I get into discussions. The EFI bikes have so much less information needed. They change pipes, dealer maps it. For the most part they are done. (there are exceptions but in general terms)
I have noticed with regularity somebody joins and when they post their first its usually "I just bought a 2004 America" or something like that.
