I acquired this bike after being forced to sell my beloved '72 Bonneville....due to crack heads stealing my car...I gave $2500 for her, and all she needed was some TLC such as cleaning the tanks out, a little contact cleaner on the points, a chain, and a pair of brake shoes...13,000 on the odometer, and the first 60 miles around Dahlonega and Gainesville have been LOADS of fun!! http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff252/b717doc/IMG_0554_zps0380aff0.jpg?739

That is a fine looking ride and good exercise for the right leg.

Nice, looks pretty clean too. You'll find that single carb is so easy to tune and smooth running you'll wonder why all the fuss over dual carb setups.

Maybe he can avoid that whole taking it apart bit...at least until the dreaded sludge trap starts to worry him.

Beautiful bike there, Mark!
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
