Did the Dr. tell you to get some lipoflavonoid. OTC works as a formulation that helps with blood flow to the inner ear. Very effective against the ringing and may help you.
If it doesn't all you spent was 20 bucks to try. I take two every day for Tinnitus. If I stop for a few days the ringing is twice as loud. Motorcycles, wind noise, guns etc cause damage as you know. In my case getting old just tends to suck sometimes.
