Steve, she's only been there a month. I told her to get the hell out of dodge as soon as the lease is up, but not so easy when money is tight! She also had a maintenance guy make some inappropriate passes at her, but the landlord just laughed her off.
Clay, I agree it might be early for an attorney, but this guy sounds like the threat of expensive legal trouble might be the ONLY thing that gets him to sit up and pay attention and play straight. If he's pulling this crap now, how will he be about returning her security deposit. And I would agree that the electric company would want this set right, since resolving billing issues would be a major headache when two parties are involved. She's got enough crap going on in her life that she doesn't need this idiot and his crap
added on top of everything else.
