I replaced my rectifier once and found out, should have done stator also.Stator went bad next.
Got a new stator and a rectifier with 3 foot wire. Move it to ftont of bike below oil cooler, It was getting to hot in area in front of rear wheel.
Friend who is a mechanic suggested that alot of riders who have problems. Put where it can get better cooling.
Aot of mfg. put rect, in wierd places and the get to hot and go bad.
