Rent them overnight ....Red Rocks is a great warm up for the first afternoon....then next day go to the Valley of Fire up around Lake Mead. Take a short detour and ride over and back across Hoover Dam.
Another great trip is Mt Henderson...totally different climate and landscape.
I'm sure that you mean Mount Charleston, no Mt. Henderson around here. And yes it is a nice ride.
