Yep, you're correct, Eric. The sport in question here is an ugly, extremely brutally physical and nearly no-holds-barred game that allows many avenues and options opened to the Offense, AND the Defense for that matter, in order to score points...including the use of a player's HANDS in which to do so.
In other words, it's not nearly as "beautiful" as watchin' a bunch of guys running around some field and kicking a ball around while maybe ending in a final score of one to nothin'.
Though I WILL grant you the game YOU brought up here consists of nonstop "action".
