According to the fit chart for these, it called for a size small for me. I read a review before ordering that said they tend to run a little large. On that review I decided to order a XS. It turns out that I could have probably gotten by with the small after all! The fit initially with the XS was a little too snug in a couple places. I have worked to compress the padding and it seems to fit well now. I usually wear a skull cap to absorb sweat, but have not with the Biltwell due to the snug fit.
Bottom line is I would go with the size chart on their webpage and you should be good.
As for the color, I did also consider the gloss black, but settled on the titanium as I wanted the helmet to stand out just a little bit more over black.
I am sure you will like it, it is lightweight and the shell is a smaller profile than most full face helmets. Good luck!
