Speaking of that issue. Inspired by the Biltwell, I took the face shield off my Scorpion EXO 400 today and rode about 30 miles at speeds up to 65 mph. Furthermore, I had taken my windshield off a couple weeks ago so was getting the max air flow. Whether I get the new helmet or not, I think this is how I will roll, at least during summer. I like all the air flow without the face shield on the full face helmet. And with the scorpion I did not notice air flow through the neck.
So no, I don't think the extra air flow will be a problem if it is similar to how the Scorpion performs.
