Hmmm. I hadn't thought of that. Front pads are good, and it occurred most recently when I powered forward from stopped after I had rolled backwards out of a park. I hadn't detected any resistance when freewheeling backwards. Any way to tell?

All I can think of is to take out the pads and give the pots a real good clean and make sure they're not binding, especially if its intermitant. It wont hurt to do it and its a lot cheaper than stripping the engine needlessly
