No, not the wife's reaction to me stripping off.
I've have heard this ugly metal on metal screech from the engine about three times now (but not every time) when I pull away on a semi-cold engine (warmed up for a couple of minutes). The loud screech lasts about half a second when I engage the clutch under load and then stops abruptly.
I attribute this to the wet clutch not having oil between a couple of the plates momentarily. Should I be concerned? Should I just excercise the clutch a couple of times first while still in neutral?
