If you use Loc-Tite, use the blue, the red require heat to get it to let go. I do not use it on my two bikes exhausts, and nothing related as ever worked loose. Even on the 11,500 ride I took in July/Aug 2011. The only maintenance is to re torque the nuts at the head and normal periodic once overs, that I do to the whole bike anyway. BTW, if you want some extra torque, just change your front sprocket to a 16 tooth, it won't show on a Dyno, but you will swear it's there.
