Tors long going on my America soon. Is it critical I get the download real fast after putting them on ?
No it is not "critical" to do it real fast but do not put it off. The stock tune is a bit lean and less restrictive exhaust will allow more air to flow. More air and the same fuel will be even more lean. Exhaust gasses will be hotter and it will pop & bang a lot on deceleration. *It may still gurgle & bang a bit on spirited deceleration after the proper tune is loaded but nothing like free flowing exhaust with the stock base tune! Only takes minutes to do after removing the seats to get to the OBDII plug. Dealer will charge you for it but shouldn't be much. Or if a buddy has TuneECU & the needed cable you can do it yourself.
Thanks for the info. Plus it could make my pipes turn blue. I am not sure on that one.
