Yes according to our founders, but by the end of WW2 we were actively involved in creating and establishing the UN, and NATO. We were waist deep in world politics at this point. Now we are burried in it.
America is still the greatest nation and the last best hope, and a shining star but we arent as bright as we could be. To much political ineptitude and corruption.
