I've been looking at these bars to replace ma's engine guard/footpegs. It would take a little fabrication connecting the center plate to the ba down tubes, and then getting them into the proper highway peg position to keep out of the way of the forward controls. Wouldn't be that hard and IMO would clean up the front end. The width, plus pegs is about right. If my memory is accurate, simple highway bars used to be more popular. Now there are just a few & those have to be adapted to fit Triumphs. A couple other mfc'rs make similar stuff, MC Enterprises lists a bar for $49-$75, but they don't show dimensions in the places I've looked.
I never considered using something like this for standard peg position, if that's what you guys are talking about?
