Here's another thing you can try... go to a hobby shop and check out the paints they sell for plastic models (model planes, cars, etc.. not cindy crawford
). They sell translucent red & amber paints to put on the clear plastic parts for turn & tail lights, there's no reason it shouldn't work on the inside of the full-sized items too.
