Newbie question, I'm replacing the front tire went with the Kenda Kruz 130/70-18 after reviewing a lot of posts here, thanks. I have seen here and on other sites about wiping down the new tire using "Goof-Off" to help with the break in time. Good idea or is it detrimental to the tire?

08 SM, carb version w/ fat tank, blue and silver, AI removed, Short TOR'S, Air box removed, battery relocated and chopped rear fender.
