??? I see many current motorcycles with much higher compression ratios. Why wouldn't mid grade fuel be enough? Heck, the Triumph Daytona lists a 13.1:1 CR.
Or am I missing something?




Not sure on that one but octane rating is fuels resistance to pre-ignition and 93 or 94 is really only good up to 10:1 or so. Used to have to add octane boost to my Norton that was 11.5:1 to prevent the pinging.
