We've got a dealer not more than 5-6 miles from where I live. I went and checked them out last Saturday. Very nice bikes. They did a really nice job on them.

And then, my neighbor across from me, the one who has 2 Harleys (including a new watercooled one), just traded in his Harley "wet-head" for a red Indian, not a chief. He rumbled on in the other day and has been carrying a big ol'sh*t eating grin since then. He's been showing me all kinds of cool stuff on the bike. He's been riding bikes for over 17 years and works as a car mechanic, so he knows his stuff.

He's already raving about how much better it rides, compared to his Harley wet-head. Oil change at 500 miles, another at 2,500 and every 5,000 miles after that. 5 year warranty.

His only real concern is the leather. it's beautiful leather but the Indian dealer warned him to be sure uses conditioner on it on a regular basis or it will crack and look bad.

He did say the pricing on accessories is exorbitant.

Now, I'm very tempted. Although I'm not sure about having a having such a big heavy bike. It's well balanced, but I'd be apprehensive with a bigger bike.

I did tell him he cannot park his bike outside when mine is there. We can only have one awesome looking bike outside at a time to distract everyone. LOL
