My Vintage has almost 900 miles on it and is getting better. I finally dragged both floorboards a few weeks ago - it ain't that easy to do. That being said, the bike handles very well.

Interesting about starting it in 3rd gear. I have tried 2nd but not 3rd - yet! You would have to be w-a-y in the wrong gear to lug the engine.

If you guys get a chance to demo an Indian by all means do so, even if you don't plan to buy one.
