I saw the new Indians at their Sturgis launch. Outstanding fit and finish which is to be expected since these early bikes are being very slowly carefully assembled and inspected for that first impression. I like them but when my wife asked "would you buy one" I said no. Just not my style. But that doesn't matter because I wouldn't buy a Harley Ultra Classic either and they were everywhere at Sturgis. Indian is just over styled to me, all that body work from the engine back reminds me of a big fat scooter. Great engine but the lightest version is over 800 pounds. And there are no dealers in the state of Virginia the nearest to home is over 230 miles away. This is a big problem for Indian. I know they want to make the bikes exclusive but if there are no dealers it's going to be kind of hard to sell them.
