I disagree a little with Larry. One of the core elements of owning a Hardly is the "group thing". Plenty of the HD riders I know really don't know that much about bikes in general. They ride HD cause it is the "cool bike everybody agrees is cool". They talk about being an individual, then buy the same bike that every body else has to be cool. That's one of the things that seperates the HD crowd from the Triumph crowd, most all of the Trumpet riders I know really are individualistic. We LIKE having a different kind of bike, that is still cool. We walk the walk. Just my observation. Although I think there will be a few HD riders gravitate over to the Indian cycle camp, I think the same people will buy the new Indian that buys the Triumph. Individual types that appreciate the classic lines and history.
