Dwight, you are correct on all points. Let's face facts, Indian has a bad rep at this point in history, and the last 30 years. I realize there is "some" excitement around the new company/design and I love the marquee and the 111 is beautiful. I wish them all the success in the world but I just think it's going to be a long slow road.
What's the plan here? Remake the Chief again to take some business from Harley, good luck. From Honda, the VTX guys probably are not going to pony up more $$$ for a "new brand". Victory, take from one hand place in the other. Triumph, some of the Bird guys will be interested, I believe. BMW,
That leaves the other UJM, most of those guys buy Yamasahakies big twins because they can't afford an HD.
I mean, what's going to be the tagline for a new branded Indian ?

We poke fun at ourselves as Triumph being the old guy bike. "I use to have one them Bonnies back in 1971"
Well at least some of the Old Triumph guys are still alive and kicking.
