I'm changing my mirrors with my new kuryakyns, changed the clutch side with no problem but i can't get the other one out. The retaining bolt is out but all it will do is spin. Any suggestions?

wiggle it and pull up...there is a little "spring" type shim in there but nothing else should be holding it!

the shim on my clutch side jammed and made it dificult to remove both the mirror and the shim later...but really there should be nothing else holding it

Did you have to use some sort of adapter with those mirrors, or just put the bolt through as for the HD's?
