I think the Rocket III would make an excellent police bike.

So do I, Soren! If the Bloor Boys were smart, they'd look into this very thing.
Now...a few years back, I had a motor cop who was parked behind a parked car in Manhattan Beach, pull me over doing 65 in a 35 zone. As I passed him, I saw it was far too late to do anything but pull over and wait for him, over the next hill that I had ridden over.
He seemed kind'a shocked as I waved him over to me on the side of the road, as he had actually lost sight of me.
Well...as much as I jokingly tried to get him to just give me a warning, he told me that he had to cite me for going so fast, but thanked me for admitting to my lack of prudence AND my understanding attitude.
Well....he then proceeded to explain to me how to get out of this citation. He told me to postpone taking it to court until the last few days I was alloted to appear at the courthouse for it, and then plead Not Guilty.
The clerk would then set a court date for me to appear and "if" he didn't appear to testify against me for "some" reason, the judge would throw out the case.
Well, guess what?! He DIDN'T show, and the judge DID throw the case out.
Cheers, Dwight (I have a "sneaky suspicion" that he kind'a appreciated my cooperation AND the Triumph Sprint I was riding that day)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
