My stock 02 America is the only bike I've bought that I haven't done hardly any changes to. It was nearly just right when I bought it. The only thing I would wish for is a stock 900 cc motor, which wouldn't be very hard for Triumph to do. Just a little more "umph" would be fun. And, though I know this is a pointless point, go back to the "old" tank, which nearly everybody on here agrees was much better looking. But, just for fun, in a perfect world where I was King, it would be cool for Triumph to build an exact copy of the 57 650 Thunderbird with modern components. You know, same frame configuration and stuff, with the old style tins and especially that awesome nacelle. Or maybe even a 37 speed twin copy. Like Royal Enfield is doing. ( I'll give Ian space here to chime in about points. ( ................ )
