I had the QPD belt drive for about 4 years. That's how long the pullies lasted. They are worn down beyond safe use. It was smoother, but I will be sticking with the chains.
I got the setup in my basement, along with a good belt if someone needs bits
A word to the wise is not necessary. It is the stupid ones who need the advice.
