Naw, I was just being a smarta$$ and busting yer chops a little, (Moe might have instigated it on his comment) Anyway if it helps protect the filter it's really not a bad idea. I mean even if you carry a spare you could be miles down the road before you noticed and prolly wouldn't have spare oil to refill. Besides even if they are ugly you really can't see the dern thing.
