Don't know if you got is solved. I was in a rain storm coming up over a pass in CO..bike died at the top of the pass and I coasted down to down the mountain...at the bottom I pulled the small black wires that were connected to the coils..they were full of water...I let them dry out and the bike fired up and I rode it the rest of the way to CA with no problems...
