Mike, I can well imagine the CDI giving you grief due to moisture. Hairline cracks can and do develop in the area where it is sealed. I had rain problems with cutting out and/or missing until I smeared caulking all over that area AND greased the contacts. Since then... not one miss, even in the rain,
