It was done local, Rocky the wizard was 2 month backlogged but he has done work for me before and I explained that I was moving within the next 20 or less days (I really am). He shaped the seat in one day, I went in for a test ride (wrapped in plastic, the seat, not me....that's another story) and knew that I needed more hip support and more area scooped out for my tailbone. Rocky adjusted it on the spot, I took another ride & all felt good. The next day it was finished. He will do mail order stuff but would rather have you around for a fitting. There have been a few guys that ordered from him after my first seat was completed and Rocky duplicated the seat, even called me in to measure my seat. He does not use memory foam, it does not breath but he will if you want to have a constant case of swamp ass. High density foam is used and sculpted using several layers to insure integrity of the shape. Rocky use to be the guy who made all of the seats and bags for Indian when they were being produced in Gilroy, CA. His other specialty is hard bags which cannot be beat for quality, but not cheap. Once again you can look up his work and bio at rockybag.com.
On another note, I racked up 300 total miles today and feel pretty darn good, that is compared to the 60 miles I could do just 3 days ago.
