Shure teach them to not question the facists lest they be punished extremely.
Teach them to obey not think.

It takes a true moron of epic proportions to call the police on a child for having a toy gun that is so clearly a toy that it would truly be an act of stupidity beyond any explaination to think other wise.
Why would it not be ok to take little Jimmy to the office, take the toy, call Mom and Dad, and explain the reason for not allowing toy guns at school and deciding on a reasonable punishment. Like he has to give up recess for a couple of days and do extra class work instead.
No they had to go totally stupid in the matter.
If little fella's family intends to have guns in the home, then it is paramount to teach him gun safety.
Has it ever occurred to anyone that ever since zero tolerance more kids have been shot at school than before zero tolerance?
Has zero toleance ever worked? Ever?
I think that every time some tyrant imposed zero tolerance it has invariably cause direct and uncontrollable rebellion.
How can an institution teach children to be intellegent when they make well beyond stupid decisions?
They took a teachable moment and turned it into a fiasco.
This type of ineptitude and gross ignorance is exactly why I home school my children.
Schools are no longer about education and learning. They are conformity factories.
