Hot dog, got a job finally after being on the dole since Jan 31! It's a contract job with little to no bennies (first paid holiday in New Years and first paid vacation day is after 2000 hours), but the pay is decent and I'm not home watching Oprah and the boob tube! It's for a company that makes equipment to do vapor deposition coatings on everything from faucets to drill bits, and is part of MASCO, who owns Delta faucets, Behr paint and a few other brands.

Man! That's GOT to feel good! I'm a "Paycheck-to-paycheck" kinda guy (NOT by choice, or at least not by GOOD choices) Four months off and I'd be homeless. Good luck!

That is great, congrats, yep down to 24 hours PTO until next year, but like to have someplace to go and work. Congrats again.

Good for ya! Any job is good after a long dry spell. I once went 8 months with out so I know how that feels.

Thanks all, yep a good feeling indeed-y! And, funny enough, got a call for a face to face for a job I was a long shot at up in Fort Collins. Going to try to talk to them since it would be full time with bennies, and well known company, but nice if I can do it while collecting a paycheck, funny how that takes a lot of the pressure off of you during an interview!
