"The seats fine" With those rivets protruding it would be fine for about 5 mins. IMO

yeah the seat didn't bother me in the 5 minutes I was riding it surprisingly. I think the curl on the back should be a bit bigger radius so you don't feel like your sliding off the back. At least I did anyway.
I was breaking his balls a little about the riding position. I probably sounded like you old heads on here to him...haha.
Seriously though, if youre gonna chop it, chop it, but you better be able to ride it when its done. Otherwise youre no better than a girl wearing high heels complaining about her feet hurting...haha.
He wasnt whining though, hung in there longer than a few guys I ride with that have cushy seats.

I'm glad you posted this. I spotted it in the background of your other post and was trying to figure it out. Much better than stock!

I'd be HAPPY to ride it, anytime, anywhere. To the Georgia Rally, and beyond! But not a year ago. (I said "Happy to ride it", not happier than to ride my America (Speedmaster/Thurxton ?) though!)

Ya know I was telling him its pretty cool to see younger guys riding and chopping bikes like this. Every kid I knew in their 20's had no money or were too fukd up on drugs to care.

I'm just glad it says VLX right there on the side cover or I'd be totally confused.

That's a cool looking Honda. I like that style of bobber. I'm just not sure my arms are long enough to ride one. Man would I have a blast though. Again VERY cool ride!

I don't know if its the lighting in the top pic or not but from where I sit, it doesn't look like your buddy is too fond of lubing his chain?

Yeah that's definitely surface rust on there and rust dust flaking off on the tire.
I'm not sure how often he lubes it, but I know Ive had a rust problem in the past with storage in a moist environment over the winter months. And then never really brushing up the chain to add lube, just adding it on top..haha
I guess its a NJ/PA thing right Ian?...haha
