I remember "back in the day" a lot of guys painted their pipes black. They used heat resistant crinkle paint. It came in a can and after you sprayed it on you started the bike and when the pipes got hot the paint formed a crinkle like finish. looked really cool. I think this paint is still around. I'm gonna fine some and paint the inside of my slash cut bubs.
