Remember the old axiom "If it ain't broke, don't fix it?" Well Microsoft believes the exact opposite. Anything that works, and that their customers have become used to and proficient with, must be completely changed. For some reason they have to completely modify the user interface every time they update the program. This is but the latest example of the contempt IT weenies have for those of us who simply want to use computers to accomplish work place tasks.


We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
