Reading is my second passion, my first being riding my Softail

I have just finished a book titled "Mad River" written by a famous author John Sandford (American).
I came across the following two bits of important information. I would like your comments please. (Keep it clean).

"I don't think of Canadians as being drug dealers" she said.
"They are," Virgil said. "Generally, as a nation, they're pretty depraved. At least, that's been my experience".

"So what killed him?" Virgil asked.
"I'm thinking Aliens."
"You mean like Canadians" he replied.

Any nation that can produce the ground breaking Red Green show, irritate certain Prescott Triumph riders by wordsmything local lingo with the occasional "U", sharing talents like John Candy, Leonard Cohen, Gordon Lightfoot and Nelson Pale Ale is pretty much OK in my book.

Depraved maybe, good neighhbours definitely

don't forget the addition of the A sound as a noun, verb, adverb, and conjunction.

After my little visit to Niagra falls, I learned something. The Canadian side is sooooooooooooooo much nicer than the American side. So maybe they are aliens...............well, they are when they come to this side of the river up there.

As far as drug dealers go......I dont think many Canadians are from Mexico.

If the Canadians we have here are exemplary of Canadian depravity, it would be hard to make a case against Canada as a depraved nation. Maybe quirky but not hardly depraved.

Maybe the writer of that book stop while he is ..............behind.
Hum that saying dont work well if ya change it up.

Anyway I dont see many problems along our northern border. However that border is a long way from my house.

Red Green is enough for me. But then again, in my youth I was a part-time Minnesotan in the little town of Baudette, where you could row or skate (depending on the season) right across the Rainy River into Canada.

Don't forget John, if it wasn't for a couple of Canadians "gettin' together" almost 62 years ago now, that there "Prescott Triumph rider"(now actually a Sedona Triumph rider) wouldn't be around today to bug people about that "superfluous letter u"!

You know Mr. Argo, myself, Friar-John & the Legendary rider simply known as Z spent a night in a Kelowna motel one year a few years ago. We ordered in the strangest d*mn pizza known to mankind. We asked for lots of this n that's and it came with an assortment of coldcut meat scattered across some velveeta "cheese". Cripes, not even Canadien Bacon.

Yeah, I know what ya mean about the "ethnic cuisine" up there. Just try to find a good Mexican restaurant up that a way for THAT matter!

(...ah, but then again, aren't the Tim Hortons crullers nice there?!

What is a dish that would be considered Canadian cuisine? Other than Canadian bacon.

When I was in Buffalo New York, my friends took me out for Mexican food. It seemed odd to me being that here there is a Mexican restaurant on every block.

Unfortunately we don't have much in terms of Canadian food, but then who needs any other food when you have bacon.

POUTINE (poo-tseen) A Quebec street food invention.

Double deep fried potato sticks (French fries) covered in chedder cheese curds (young chedder globules) covered in thick rich gravy served piping hot with a Pepsi. Tasty on occasion and enjoyed by many. Can you say cholestoral?

No reply from Keith or Greg yet.

I thought I would get a bite and a sly remark about us OZZIES. Although I am not a real one.

I've crossed Canada a couple times in the past couple years. Once coming up through Vancouver, north through BC, over to Jasper, down through Banff, over to Calgary, and east across the plains before 're-entry' into Michigan.

I toured much of the eastern half the next year.

Nicest folks I've ever met. Beautiful country, too. I'd live there in a second if 1) they could move it a little further south, and 2) they'd have me.

One is as likely as the other.

Well, we can't move it farther south but you do realize that Global Warming is a plot of the Harper government to turn Canada tropical.
