On sat I tracked down most of the problems I was having and got my lights fixed (details in tech). Asked my 10 yr old if he wanted to go for a ride on Sunday (yesterday). "Shure! Can we go to MARY'S in Strawn?" I had to look it up, its a nice hwy road right out of town about 35 miles. Great riding weather 73ish and sunny. We got there and I asked him how he knew about this place. He grined and said "I came here yesterday with Eathan (his buddy)and his mom" I was like, you little stinker! As it turns out, this was a place I had been trying to remember for 5 yrs! I had ridden out with some people and was still pretty new to the area. the food is outstanding! in the last 2 years they built a big addition that has 4 garage doors they open when its noce out. lots of bike parking and covered pick nick tables across the street. Yep it was a good day with my mini-me. Gotta get his older brother out next for some equal time, but he is into the Im 12 and too cool to hang with dad (unless I need money
).
