Nice.
Where is the blood?
I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago.

This is too wierd. My (hopefully soon to be better half) posted this same pic on her farcebook page the same day she finished up her MC safety class last week......
I guess the class made a real impression on her (thankfully) about ATGATT.
On another note....a month or so ago she asked me why I never took her for a ride on Black Beauty. My answer was that I loved her & was not comfortable putting her in jeopardy. I reminded her that right after I bought the BA two years before, I rolled up to take her for a ride one day & she came out in sandals, shorts, & a tee. We went round the block once & once only. And yes she was pi$$ed off about it at the time & I begged of that my BA had some kind of mechanical issue (not!) that prevented her riding passenger with me that afternoon.
Now were looking at MC's for her & I'm trying to push her to seriously consider a Bonnie.

There is no blood because all the dead tissue was cut away, as the foot had got gangrene as a result of a snakebite. This "motorcycle accident" picture was doing the rounds on facebook a while ago, and was debunked on there. If the damage had been caused by scraping along the tarmac, the bones and muscle would be in a lot worse state, rather than looking nice and clean as in the picture.
Still no reason not to wear boots while riding though, and ATGATT is good advice, but I wonder how many people have used this falsely labelled picture as more anti motorcycle propaganda?
Started out correcting a misapprehension and got a bit ranty

I thought there was no blood because it was a cadaver/autopsy.

My point exactly mr. Brindle. That wound could not be the result of a motorcyle accident. Not only are the bones and tendons not damaged, but most of the damage is toward the top of the foot. And its far too clean.
