I always wondered why so many people feel compelled to RE-POST every political exaggeration, misinformation, and lie they read.

Well, to try and answer your question here Troy, all I can tell ya is that I hear TV stations make a whole lot o' money runnin' ads that do just THAT come every election!

(...and so I'd say at least in THAT regard there seems to be a monetary incentive there someplace anyway)
