This led light is a direct plug and play. The only mod you need to do is remove the little "Tab" on the inside of the headlight ring. It holds the stock bulb in place.

I ordered the 07' Yamaha Road Star 1700 Midnight. They don't have Triumph in the selection.

Fits right inside the stock housing, wires and all.

I got mine from motorcycle-superstore.com for $269 and free shipping.

+1 How's the light? A lot of money for a headlight, but if you're gonna hunt deer ya wanna see where they are!

Not trying to steal any thunder from Kuryakyn, but here are some more details on the light;

Thanks for the pic of the box Edwin. Did Kury's ad mention the 3 year guarantee?

I haven't been on the road in total darkness yet. Sun set was the closest so far. But it definitely lit the road up.

It looks as if the lowest price online is about $200.

Now you tell me. It was an impulse buy.

How'd you search that? Were you just looking for PAR36 compatible lights (I think that is what they have.) I also saw another thread (on here?) that had a link to a 32 LED headlight...looked crazy. I'll try to find it again and link to it here.

I was doing some google searches. And motorcyclesuperstore.com is just one of my go to sites.

Here are the other LED headlights I saw. Was looking for the thread, but didn't find it. And it's 162 LEDs! Whoa!

I came across those when I was on that site looking at led blinkers. I almost got it. But then I liked how the led headlight I got looks black on the inside.

Great site though. I've bought a lot of stuff from them over the past two years.

I put those on my bike a few weeks ago and posted about it. Very BRIGHT and they fit in the America lightbar light buckets.

Interesting. Did you have to do anything to the wiring in the light bar, or are they pretty much plug right in? A little pricey ($119/ea), but something to think about, assuming they should last pretty much forever.

My new headlight (the one in the first picture) was waiting on me when I got home yesterday. I put it in and went out last night. In conjunction with the LED running lights I can clearly see everything out to a quarter mile. I now have to be very careful to not blind oncoming traffic.

How about an update? Have you rode in the evening yet with your new LED headlight? I'm very interested in this item but am curious about brightness and projection length.
